Day 1 Introduction.

31st January 2007
EFWP: 6,605,046,992

In the beginning, there was ideas - lots of ideas.

In an effort to leave a record of 21st century ideology, maybe we can teach tomorrow ways to avoid repeating history.

Abbreviations to get used to: EFWP = Estimated Free-Will Population

The idea.

The past teaches the future how not to make mistakes by making them itself.

The purpose of the journal is to document and encourage free thinking individuals of any race, colour, religion or preference. Anyone who is able to communicate an idea is welcome to make an entry.

I want to create a 21st century mans theoretical encyclopedia, an international diary.

The structure.

Immediately, the journal is not intended to: discuss, destroy, disprove, prove, negate, concrete, cement, order, instruct, force, tell or answer.

The immediate intention is to: empower, encourage, share, inspire, investigate, listen, see, envisage, dream, fantasise, hope and believe.

Welcome effects of the journal might be: motion, movement, progress, development, evolution.

The journal will test theory, by its very existence - it is after all and nothing a theory by definition.

The desired physical and literal structure of the published journal, it is hoped, will be: A digital Internet copy (think wiki), A recurring hard copy (think new scientist) and anything else appropriated.

If you would like to participate in discussion concerning the structure/model/design of the journal, you are already invited.

Thank you everyone who reads and contributes.
